Mrs. Amaka Judith Nweke JP., a devoted advocate for women’s inclusion and peacebuilding, captured global recognition at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, where she was honoured with the Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti Distinguished Woman of Peace Award and Honour by the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre (UN-POLAC). The event was held in commemoration of the International Day of Parliamentarism, a date that globally honours the role of parliaments in democracy, peace, and nation-building.
