Senator Osita Ngwu Launches Over 200 Million Naira Educational Transformation Project in Enugu West Community


The senator representing Enugu Zone, Hon. Osita Ngwu has embarked on a groundbreaking project aimed at transforming the educational landscape in Enugu West District. Valued at a substantial 200 million Naira, this project centers on the construction of a state-of-the-art junior secondary school.

This ambitious endeavor encompasses the construction of a six-classroom block, a junior model secondary school equipped with administrative buildings, a library, a laboratory, and essential toilet facilities. In addition, the project includes the provision of computer and basic science equipment, ensuring that students have access to modern resources for their education.

Located at Central School Ngwo, when completed, this educational institution will stand as a symbol of excellence, nurturing young minds in the fields of computer knowledge and sciences. Senator Ngwu's dedication to his constituents and the Federal Government of Nigeria's commitment to enhancing basic education infrastructure nationwide are evident through this initiative.

On September 2, 2023, Senator Ngwu, who serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Solid Mineral Resources, Steel, and Metallurgy, conducted an on-site inspection of the project. Community leaders and local residents warmly welcomed the senator, who reassured them of the government's unwavering commitment to delivering hope and social justice to Nigerians promptly.

Senator Ngwu expressed his gratitude for the substantial federal investment in basic education infrastructure and pledged to tirelessly work towards attracting more federal projects to Enugu West District. Under his representation, Enugu West District is set to benefit significantly from the dividends of democracy.

The project is fully funded, and Camyota Ltd, the appointed contractor, has been tasked with completing it within 24 weeks. As this initiative takes shape, it serves as a testament to Senator Osita Ngwu's unwavering dedication to his community's betterment and the advancement of education in Nigeria.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
