GOOD MORNING COAL CITY: Youth Security Summit Convener Commends Enugu State Governor's Disruptive Governance


In a recent interview on ETV Channel 50's GOOD MORNING Coal City, Monday Diamond Ani JP, the Convener of the Youth Security Summit 2023, lauded the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, for his transformative governance approach. Ani specifically highlighted the governor's notable achievements in security, water provision, and rapid road network construction within the Enugu Metropolis.

Speaking on the prevailing security challenges in the South East, Ani expressed admiration for Governor Peter Mbah's non-kinetic strategy in addressing issues, particularly the reduction of the SIT-AT-HOME endemic to its lowest minimal in the state. He emphasized that businesses in Enugu have thrived rapidly under Governor Mbah's leadership, attributing this success to the eradication of the SIT-AT-HOME practice.

"Under Governor Peter Mbah, SIT-AT-HOME is now history, and I am very proud of him. I am not apologetic about it," Ani declared during the interview, praising the governor's sincerity and proactiveness in promoting good governance.

Affectionately known as Odoziobodo, Ani urged the youth to embrace peace and exhibit good behavior for the betterment of society. The convener's commendation aligns with the governor's commitment to fostering a secure and prosperous Enugu State.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
