In a heartwarming testimony, Omeje Emmanuel, a resident of Amebo Ward, Ibagwa-Aka community in Igbo-Eze South LGA, Enugu State, expressed profound gratitude for the life-changing intervention of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme. Plagued with a complicated lump near the MedullaOblongata, Emmanuel recounted the challenges he faced before seeking the program's assistance.


Emmanuel shared, "I was troubled with a lump on the back of my neck, near my  ear, causing immense discomfort and worry. The complexity of the situation made me hesitant to seek medical help. However, thanks to the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, I found hope. Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler. According to the communiqué, the council expressed deep embarrassment over Onukaibe's self-presentation to the Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, labeling it as an act of impersonation and emphasizing that he was never nominated, selected, or recommended by the community for such a role.
