GOOD NEWS! Enugu Set to Unveil 'Ken David Orphanage & Widows Empowerment Center'

 



Enugu is thrown into joy and anticipation as the entire state eagerly awaits the monumental Grand Opening of a State-of-the-art Humanitarian Project "Ken David Orphanage Home & Widows Empowerment Center" championed by Mr Ken and Dr. Favour David, revered individuals and illustrious son and daughter of the state, this humanitarian endeavor promises to be a transformative force for good in the region.

Set to take place on the 28th of March 2024, the Grand Opening will be graced by distinguished guests including the event's Special Guest of Honor, the Deputy Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, and Reverend Amb Emmanuel Ositadinma Edeh, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Madu, the President, Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), Joining them will be esteemed royal figures and prominent ministers such as Apostle Charles Osazuwa of 'Rock of Ages Christian Assembly' and Prophetess Nkem Adu of 'Jesus Never Fails Prayer Ministry' and a host of others 

The event festivities will kick off by 12pm at the Ken David Orphanage Home & Widows Empowerment Center located at No. 2 Onovo Street, Ebony Paint Road, Topland Market, Gariki, Enugu.

The Ken David Orphanage Home & Widows Empowerment Center is more than just a charitable institution; it is a beacon of hope for the less fortunate. With a mission to make a positive impact through unwavering dedication and generous support, the foundation has already funded over twelve thousand charity projects worldwide, with over a hundred of those independently funded.

According to the founders, Mr Ken and Dr. Favour David, "In a world filled with challenges, compassion remains the most potent force for change. Every child deserves love, care, and the opportunity to thrive."

Statistics from the Ken David Orphanage Home Poverty Index Research reveal a sobering reality: over 2.5 million children in Nigeria are homeless, deprived of the most basic human rights. Mr. David emphasized, "Behind these staggering numbers are stories of resilience, struggle, and untold hardship."


With it's vission to provide cares for the orphans and widows as contained in the book of james 1vs 17, the core initiatives of the Ken David Orphanage Home & Widows Empowerment Center aim to empower orphans and widows through various support programs:

Building Schools for Children: Providing a conducive learning environment for children to excel and compete on an equal footing for a brighter future.

- Access to Education: Ensuring that every child has the opportunity to receive quality education, regardless of their circumstances.

- Medical Facilities for Children: Addressing health challenges faced by children by providing access to essential medical care and facilities.

- Clean Water for Underprivileged Children: Recognizing clean water as a fundamental human right, efforts will be made to ensure access to this vital resource for disadvantaged children.

- Skill Acquisition Training: The need to empower the young generation with human capital development skills for employability and entrepreneurship engagement in the digital age, requires basic training in ICT, Fashion Design and other related lucrative ventures which Ken David Orphanage Home and Women Empowerment Center in more concerned about.
