  Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, has called for homegrown innovations to better regulate the gaming industry in Nigeria and reposition it to contribute more meaningfully to the nation’s economy. Mbah also called for more enlightenment in addition to regulation to guide the people to draw the line between leisure and addiction. This landmark Regulation and Sensitization Programme is scheduled to run from June 26th to July 10th, 2024, and will cover all Local Government Councils within the three Senatorial Zones of the state. This initiative underscores Enugu State Government's commitment to improving healthcare delivery, ensuring the safety and efficacy of herbal medicine, and integrating traditional practices into the broader healthcare system. By regulating herbal medicine practice, the government aims to safeguard public health, promote sustainable practices, and empower local practitioners with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide high-quality care.
