Horror In Anambra! Father Mourns In Agony As Unknown Assailants Kill His Three Children, Stuff Corpses In Freezer

A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, as three children; Ejezie Chikaima Daviana, 9, Ejezie Chimziterem Dominica, 7, and Ejezie Chimdilim David, 5 were brutally murdered by unknown assailants and their bodies hidden in a deep freezer. The killings have left their father, Mr. Ejezie Udochukwu, devastated and searching for answers.

The family’s nightmare began on a Saturday when Mrs. Chikazo Ejezie, a nurse and lecturer, left their home to take an examination. At the time, the three children were left behind. When Mrs. Ejezie returned from the exam, she was shocked to find the house wide open, which was unusual as the children always made sure to lock the door when they were alone.

After several unsuccessful attempts to find the children, she gathered a search party. Their search eventually led to the gruesome discovery: the children’s bodies were found stuffed inside the deep freezer, leaving the family in disbelief.

Mr. Udochukwu, speaking to reporters, shared his agony and disbelief at the brutal murder of his children. He described the scene as one of shock and horror, saying the children had been eating when the assailants stormed the house at around noon. Traces of food were left behind in the plates, suggesting that the children were interrupted mid-meal. He also mentioned that they lived in a bungalow with only two other tenants and the landlord, and he could not fathom who would commit such a horrific act.

“The corpses of the kids have been deposited at a morgue by the police officers from the CPS (Central Police Station) Nnewi where we reported the matter and the police are investigating it,” Udochukwu said, his voice filled with sorrow. “You can see that I am completely devastated. My three kids killed at the same time by yet to be identified assailants.”

The Anambra State Police confirmed the incident, with Public Relations Officer SP Tochukwu Ikenga stating that the bodies of the children have been recovered and that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka for further investigation.

Mr. Udochukwu, who resides in Irrua, Edo State, said he had no known enemies and could not understand why someone would want to harm his children. He also stated that he had no prime suspects or any idea who might have been responsible for the killings. As of now, the motive behind the murders remains unclear, and no arrests have been made.

The gruesome nature of the crime has left the local community in shock, with many expressing their horror and disbelief. Authorities have launched a full investigation, hoping to uncover the identity of the assailants and bring them to justice.

The father’s grief is compounded by the uncertainty of why his children were targeted, as the family had not been involved in any known conflicts or disputes. The entire community is left questioning how such a tragedy could have occurred in their midst.

As the investigation continues, Mr. Udochukwu is left mourning the loss of his three children, seeking justice for their senseless deaths.
