Enugu First Lady Invites All Women to 2025 International Women’s Day Event
Enugu State is set to commemorate the 2025 International Women’s Day, with the Wife of the Governor, Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, extending a special invitation to women across the state to participate in the grand celebration.
The event, scheduled to take place on 8th March 2025 at Okpara Square, Independence Layout, Enugu, by 9:00 AM, is expected to bring together prominent women leaders and stakeholders from various sectors.
The invitation is extended to members of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Commissioners, women ministers, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), the Catholic Women Organization (CWO), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), professional bodies, NULGE, and women leaders from all 17 local government areas of the state.
The 2025 International Women’s Day promises to be a significant gathering aimed at recognizing the contributions of women in governance, leadership, and community development. It will also serve as a platform to discuss critical issues affecting women and promote unity and empowerment among women in Enugu State.
The invitation, conveyed on behalf of the First Lady by Mrs. Rita Edeh, calls on all Enugu women to be part of this impactful celebration as the state aligns with the global movement for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
