Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mba Engages Udenu Market Leaders, Reaffirms Gov. Peter Mba’s Commitment to Economic Growth

 

In continuation with the move to forestall peace, harmony and stability in the state's markets as a precursor to a free progressive, productive and prosperous trading climate in the state, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Market Liaison, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mba, today, paid a scheduled visit to Orie Orba and Obollo Afor markets in Udenu Local Government Area.

The scheduled visit which was aimed at interfacing with the traders, market leaders and community leaders to discover their challenges, areas of improvement, intervention and support from the state government, began with a courtesy call to the Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Akachukwu Eze Akachukwu.

The LGA Chairman welcomed the SSA and his team and assured them of his full support. He then delegated his Vice, Hon. Mrs. Onyinyechi Odo to go along with the SSA and his team. A productive interactive session with ndi Oha Obollo followed suit.

The members of the Community's Apex body of titled men extended their appreciation to His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba for his good works in the state which cuts across all electoral wards in the state, beginning with the smart schools and other projects. 

They reaffirmed their solid support for the Governor as they extended the hallowed greetings from Esha, the Eldest man in Obollo, and from the entire Oha Obollo. 


After the interactive session with ndibOha Obollo, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mba visited and toured the Afor Obollo market where he also met and had a session with the market leaders who also took turns to appreciate His Excellency, Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mba and pledged their support for all his administration's policies especially as it regards the mission to take Enugu state's GDP from $4.4 billion to $30 billion. 

At Orie Orba, the Caretaker Committee overseeing the market and the dissolved Excos, along with other stakeholders in the market sat for a prolonged session where critical issues affecting and destabilizing the market were thoroughly discussed and treated to a reasonable extent. 

The Visit ended with a homage paid to the Traditional Ruler of Orba Community, His Royal Highness, Igwe Onugwu Eze Nwoye who appreciated the SSA and his team and extended a greater appreciation to His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mba for all the developmental projects of the Governor in the Community and for the Governor's commitment to ensure the smooth running and progress of the markets in the state.

Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mba appreciated him for his hospitality and assured him of the Governor's total commitment to the strategic development of all nooks and crannies of Enugu State.
