Enugu: Hon. Paul Nnajiofor Loses Wife


The former State Representative for Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor (Ononenyi), lost of his beloved wife, Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor. The passing of Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor has left the Family in grief and sadness.


Mrs. Vivian Nnajiofor, a delectable and loving wife, and a caring mother of four children, succumbed to the hands of death at the Memphis Hospital Enugu after battling a brief illness and undergoing medical attention for an undisclosed ailment.


Upon hearing the tragic news, newsmen reached out to Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor, who expressed profound shock and indescribable pain over the loss of his beloved wife, a cherished friend, and the mother of his children.


"I am devastated, deeply saddened, and in a sorrowful mood as a result of my wife's death," Hon. Nnajiofor mourned.


The former lawmaker continued, "In fact, I am confused and can't believe that my lovely wife is no more. Vivian was not only a great woman and wife, but also a wonderful friend to me and to many. Her loss leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts." Ononenyi said.


As the Nnajiofor family grapples with this tragic loss, they have not yet finalized the burial date. Hon. Nnajiofor has pledged to arrange a befitting burial ceremony to honor the memory of his late wife, whom he lovingly described as a woman of extraordinary character and an exceptional friend. He called upon God to grant her soul eternal rest.


The entire community, political associates, and well-wishers have sent their condolences to Hon. Paul Nnajiofor and his family during this difficult time. Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler. According to the communiqué, the council expressed deep embarrassment over Onukaibe's self-presentation to the Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, labeling it as an act of impersonation and emphasizing that he was never nominated, selected, or recommended by the community for such a role.
