Anayo Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu), the candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), as the rightful winner of the Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 General Election.

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom.
