Jubilation in Obeleagu Umana as Gov. Peter Mbah Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Medical Facility


Obeleagu Umana community in Enugu State was engulfed in jubilation as the Executive Chairman of Ezeagu Local Government Area, Honorable Chukwudi A. Ozoeluba, inaugurated the state-of-the-art Obeleagu Umana Health Center on Monday, October 2, 2023. The ceremony, conducted on behalf of the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barrister Peter Mbah, by the Honorable Commissioner for Health, Prof. Emmanuel Obi, marked a significant moment for healthcare access in the region.

Commander John Aneke, the President General of Obeleagu Umana community, expressed profound gratitude to Honorable Chukwudi A. Ozoeluba for the initiative, describing it as a testament to the government's genuine concern for the welfare of the people. Commissioner for Health, Prof. Emmanuel Obi, commended the Executive Chairman's unwavering dedication to improving healthcare within his local government council. The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
