APPEALS Project Coordinator in Enugu State Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to Community Development

Under her astute leadership, the APPEALS project in Enugu State achieved commendable milestones, including support provided to over 5,500 farmers and empowerment programs benefiting 1,700 women and youth. Mrs. Eze's proactive approach and commitment to excellence propelled the project to be recognized as the best in the country for fund utilization and performance based on activities, showcasing the tangible impact of her endeavors.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler. According to the communiqué, the council expressed deep embarrassment over Onukaibe's self-presentation to the Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, labeling it as an act of impersonation and emphasizing that he was never nominated, selected, or recommended by the community for such a role.
