The Chairman of Adada General Assembly in diaspora, Apostle Mike Ugwu JP, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Council of Enugu State Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu. Igwe Asadu, also a Patron of the highly Adada General Assembly in Diaspora has been praised by Apostle Ugwu for his significant contributions to the development of the Nsukka zone and his philanthropic efforts across Enugu State.

Popularly referred to as "Ezeonodugo Na Nsukka" Apostle Ugwu who also doubles as the President General of Enugu State Indigenes in South Africa, highlighted that Igwe Asadu’s appointment to chair the traditional rulers' council by His Excellency, Governor Barr. Peter Mbah, is well deserved, acknowledging that Igwe Asadu's contributions have not gone unnoticed. "His efforts in promoting social and cultural development have left an indelible mark on our community," Ugwu stated;

On behalf of myself and my family, I wish to extend my deepest congratulations to you on your appointment as the Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers by His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State. This appointment is truly well-deserved, recognizing your immense contributions to our society and your commendable efforts in youth development.

Since your emergence on December 27th, 2022, you have set a remarkable example for other leaders. You have distinguished yourself as a traditional leader dedicated to the well-being of your people. Your commitment is evident in your empowerment of 63 youths from your town with ₦1 million each to start their own businesses, laying a solid foundation for economic growth in Edem-Ani Autonomous Community.

Your visionary approach to academic excellence is exemplified by sending eight first-class graduates from your community abroad for further studies. This initiative will undoubtedly open new opportunities for these young individuals, allowing them to gain knowledge and skills that will benefit your community upon their return.

Your leadership has inspired not only your community but the entire state. You have demonstrated that traditional rulers can play a crucial role in the socio-economic development of their communities.

As you take on this new role as Chairman of the Enugu State Council of Traditional Rulers, we are confident that you will continue to lead with wisdom, integrity, and compassion. Your achievements thus far clearly indicate the positive impact you will have on the council and the broader community.

The journey to this new leadership role commenced on March 29, 2024, when Governor Mbah approved the reconstitution of the 8th Council of Enugu State Traditional Rulers, culminating in the appointment of HRM Igwe Dr. Samuel Asadu as the Chairman.

This reconstituted council of traditional leaders is anticipated to bring renewed vigor and vision to traditional governance and cultural preservation within Enugu State. The community eagerly anticipates the contributions of HRM Igwe Dr. Samuel Asadu and his esteemed colleagues as they steer the Council towards a future of unity, progress, and cultural pride.
