Disregard Media Blackmail Against PDP Chairmanship Nominee in Uzo Uwani LGA - Nkpologu Community

The Igwe in Council and the Town Union of Nkpologu Attah community, have described as malicious and fallacious, the ongoing media campaign targeted at bringing down Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu, Nominee for the peoples Democratic Party's Chairmanship primary election scheduled for 14th of August, 2024,

The community which described the purveyors of the misinformation as "faceless", also stated that the intention of the individuals behind the blackmail was to 'taint and tarnish the image and reputation of Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu which he has sternly worked and built for years with dedicated service to his people.'

The community which described Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu, popularly known as Agunecheibe I of Nkpologu Attah Kingdom as a personality to reckon with in Nkpologu and the entire Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, listed positions occupied by the party's Nominee in the past to include former PDP Youth Leader Uzo-Uwani LGA, former Councilor Nkoplogu Ward and Chief Security Officer (CSO) Uzo-Uwani LGA. 

In a statement jointly signed by the HRH Igwe Jude Okeke, Traditional Ruler of Nkpunator Nkoplogu; HRH: Igwe S.J. Idu Traditional Ruler of Nkpologu and Nkpologu thing Chief, Ogochukwu Alumona who also doubles as President General, Nkpologu Town Union And Mr. Donatus Ezugwu, President General. Nkpunato-Nkpologu; the community explained that during Barr. Ezugwu's service as the Chief Security Officer Uzo-Uwani LGA, that 'the Nominee was greatly instrumental to the relative peace and security enjoyed in Nkpologu and entire Uzo-Uwani all throughout the past administration. 

The community however, noted that "The allegation of the faceless individual(s) behind the blackmail was unfounded and baseless, calculated only to taint the reputation of Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu maliciously and nothing more. 

The statement also described Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as a seasoned legal practitioner and was never charged nor convicted of any crime whatsoever, while warning that any attempts to or publishes any further false or malicious publication against the person of her son, Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu as we shall not hesitate to bring an action against the person(s) in court of law for defamation of character or risk prosecution for cyber-crime and character assassination, while explaining that Nkpologu Attah community is strongly behind her son in all his political aspirations.

The Igwe in Council and the Town Union of Nkpologu Attah community are shocked by a sponsored malicious and fallacious publication against our son Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu by faceless individual(s) whose evil machination is to taint and tarnish the image and reputation of Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu which he has sternly worked and built for years with dedicated service to his people. 

Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu (Agunecheibe I of Nkpologu Attah Kingdom is a personality to reckon with in Nkpologu and the entire Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area and has served his people in various capacities as former PDP Youth Leader Uzo-Uwani LGA, former Councilor Nkoplogu Ward and Chief Security Officer (CSO) Uzo-Uwani LGA. Thus, during his service as the Chief Security Officer Uzo-Uwani LGA, Chief Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu was greatly instrumental to the relative peace and security enjoyed in Nkpologu and entire Uzo-Uwani all throughout the past administration.
