Hon. Tony Nwagbo Hails Gov Mbah on Peaceful Conduct of PDP Primaries in Enugu State


Expressing his unwavering loyalty and commendation, Hon. Tony Obiora Nwagbo, a notable figure and mobilizer in Orba Ward 1, Udenu Local Government Area, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. Hon. Tony lauded the Governor for his commitment to fairness and adherence to zoning principles, which significantly contributed to the peaceful and successful conduct of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Congresses and Primaries across the state.


In his congratulatory message, Hon. Tony expressed deep admiration for Governor Mbah's leadership, emphasizing that his spirit of fairness and dedication to the party's zoning arrangement played a pivotal role in maintaining harmony within the party. This, he noted, ensured the smooth emergence of candidates during the PDP primaries, setting a solid foundation for the party's success in the upcoming local government elections.


Hon. Tony Obiora Nwagbo also extended his congratulations to the incoming chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Aka Eze Aka, a well-respected broadcaster, media expert, and advocate of peace and fairness. Describing him as a calm, humble, and seasoned administrator, Hon. Tony praised Hon. Aka Eze Aka's emergence as the PDP Chairmanship candidate for Udenu, highlighting his popularity and respect among the people of Udenu and Enugu State at large.


In addition, Hon. Tony congratulated the current PDP Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Melitus Onah, on his successful emergence, acknowledging the strategic leadership that has kept the party strong in the local government area.


Hon. Tony took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the team that worked closely with Governor Peter Mbah to ensure the successful outcome of the PDP Congresses and Primaries. While the local government elections draw near, scheduled for October 5th, Hon. Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
