The Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the appointment of Professor Ikemefuna Ignatius Ozor as the Pioneer Provost of the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno.

Prof. Ozor, a distinguished scholar and seasoned administrator, currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences at the Enugu State University College of Medicine (ESUCOM).
