Nigeria–Brazil Green Methanol Production: Hon Minister Innovation, Sci -Tech, Chief Uche Nnaji Builds the Bridge for Africa's largest Green Methanol Industrial Complex
A few days ago, the internet went agog with viral clips of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu visibly excited as he witnessed the historic signing of a cooperation agreement between Nigeria and Brazil. The facilitator of this milestone was none other than Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, Nigeria’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology—aptly named The Bridge Builder.
Many Nigerians remarked that President Tinubu’s joy was “beyond measure,” as this event marked a turning point in Nigeria’s industrial and innovation journey. The last STI agreement between Nigeria and Brazil was signed in 1973. President Tinubu is excited to see this happen again after 42 years through the minister of innovation, science, and technology, the *Bridge Builder* , Chief Uche Nnaji
Even before this epoch-making visit, His Grace, Apostle ON Godwin had presented Chief Uche Nnaji with the “Bridge Builder Award” for his relentless efforts to reposition Nigeria into the 4th Industrial Revolution and redeem her lost glory as Africa’s true giant. Like the game of football, innovation in science and technology is championing a new, global cooperation amongst nations, without bias of politics , religion, ethnicity, and tribe. His Grace Apostle Godwin thanked him for his bold efforts to redirect the energy of Nigerian graduate youth to eschew crime and violence but develop new, relevant skills, upscale existing ones in science and technology to harness technology in legitimate, wealth creation.
In this article, I shall present *Questions & Answers* that provide clarity on the vision, purpose, and impact of the Nigeria–Brazil Green Methanol Cooperation.
