Empowerment Revolution: NYGA Doles Out Millions in Business and Student Grants

Led by Amb. Dr. Clinton Ogbonna, the Nsukka Youth General Assembly (NYGA) launches a transformative empowerment drive, inspiring hope, innovation, and self-reliance across Enugu North Senatorial District.
The long-awaited Nsukka Youth General Assembly (NYGA) Small Business and Students Grant Empowerment 1.0, held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Adada House, Nsukka, has redefined the meaning of youth empowerment in the Nsukka socio-cultural zone of Enugu State.
The landmark event brought together energetic youths from Nsukka, Igbo-Eze South, Igbo-Eze North, Igbo Etiti, Udenu, and Uzo Uwani Local Government Areas, filling the atmosphere with excitement and renewed hope as hundreds of beneficiaries received millions of naira in direct financial grants to support business startups and academic advancement.
The initiative, conceived and driven by the National President of the Nsukka Youth General Assembly, Amb. Dr. Clinton Ogbonna, represents a bold and visionary effort to build the capacity of young people, foster self-reliance, and stimulate innovation throughout the Nsukka zone. Young entrepreneurs and students were visibly elated as they received financial lifelines that will help them scale their enterprises, fund their education, and contribute to local development.
In his keynote remarks, Dr. Ogbonna expressed profound gratitude to all donors and partners whose support made the programme a resounding success.
