G-17: Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor Hails Governor Peter Mbah, Commends G17 Endorsement, Reiterated the Governor’s Continued Commitment to the Welfare of Ndi Enugu

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Legislative Matters, Rt. Hon. Paul Nnajiofor (Ononenyi na Owo), has praised  the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his transformational, visionary, and reform-driven leadership that has set a new benchmark in governance and rekindled the hopes of Ndi Enugu.

Speaking with great admiration during the G17 Stakeholders’ Meeting held at the Destiny Event Centre, Enugu, on Wednesday, 9th October 2025, Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor described Governor Mbah as “a man of divine mission, a silent achiever, and a reformer whose vision and courage have turned impossibilities into milestones.”

He noted that within two and a half years in office, Governor Mbah’s administration has brought unprecedented infrastructural renaissance, digital innovation, economic growth, and institutional stability across the state. According to him, “Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is not just governing; he is redefining leadership and repositioning Enugu for a prosperous future.”

Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor, who is a former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly and an influential voice in state politics, also showered glowing praises on the Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah-led G17 Movement, describing it as the heartbeat of grassroots mobilization and the strongest political structure of unity and loyalty in Enugu State.

In his words: “The G17 has become the living testimony of Governor Mbah’s people-oriented philosophy. Your dedication, discipline, and steadfastness are unparalleled. You have remained the engine that powers the people’s voice, and history will remember your loyalty and commitment.”

The respected lawmaker reaffirmed his total confidence in the G17’s leadership and urged members to continue serving as torchbearers of truth, unity, and progress. He added that the G17’s endorsement of Governor Mbah for a second term ahead of the 2027 election is both a reward for excellence and a reaffirmation of trust in tested leadership.

Rt. Hon. Nnajiofor concluded with heartfelt eulogies, declaring that “Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is the architect of a new Enugu — a leader whose vision has given meaning to the slogan, ‘Tomorrow is Here.’”

The gathering, attended by key government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders from across the 17 LGAs, climaxed with a thunderous ovation as Governor Peter Mbah was crowned Grand Patron of G17, symbolizing a renewed covenant between the government and the people for sustained progress and unity.

Enugu: Finally, Suspected Killers of Ogbete Market Chairman Arrested

Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have arrested two suspects linked to the killing of Mr. Stephen Aniagu, Chairman of the Ogbete Main Market Traders’ Association (OMMATA). [VIDEO] Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Invade Enugu Community, Attack Residents

   Residents of  Ikedinkpa Affa , a community in  Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State , have raised alarm over an alleged invasion by suspected  Fulani herdsmen , leading to attacks and heightened tension in the area. In a disturbing video shared online by  Mr. Emeka Amadi , an indigene of the community, he decried the growing insecurity, stating that armed assailants had taken over parts of the community.
