University of Nigeria Expresses Gratitude to Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation for Scholarship Program

The Law Faculty of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, extended its heartfelt appreciation to Rt. Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu, founder of the Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation, during a special visit to the foundation's headquarters in Enugu. The purpose of the visit was to honor the recent graduate, Miss Malinda Itanyi, who successfully completed her LL.B law degree through the foundation's scholarship program.

Comr. Ezeugwu Chibuzor, President of the Law Faculty, conveyed gratitude on behalf of the entire faculty, acknowledging Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu's steadfast dedication to youth and his significant contributions to education. He remarked, "On behalf of the faculty of law, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, we are here to say a big thank you for one of us, Miss Malinda Itanyi from Igbo-Etiti local government area who has just graduated with an LL.B law degree through a scholarship opportunity from your foundation."

Continuing his address, Comrade Chibuzor said, "There is no other way to extend our appreciation rather than to visit you at your foundation today to celebrate her as a beneficiary and a fresh graduate. We wish to thank you and encourage you to continue the good work."

Miss Malinda Itanyi, the beneficiary of the foundation's scholarship, expressed her heartfelt gratitude in her vote of thanks. She said, "Thank you Honorable Ikechukwu Ezeugwu for giving me the opportunity to become a law graduate today. Your generosity astounds me; you granted me a scholarship I did not expect. Without your scholarship, I would have faced significant challenges. My deepest gratitude goes to you, your entire foundation team, and everyone who played a role in helping me achieve this Bachelor's Degree in Law."

Responding to media inquiries about his choice of a beneficiary from Igbo-Etiti local government, outside his constituency, Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu shared his reasoning. He recounted his interactions with a prominent woman, Ngozi Itanyi, known as "The London Baby," who was actively involved in various political and social functions. Recognizing her dedication, he discovered that her daughter, Malinda, had gained admission to study Law at UNN.

"I promised her that, as a token of appreciation for her friendship, I would include her daughter as one of my scholarship beneficiaries," Hon. Ezeugwu explained. He concluded, "I am delighted that today, Malinda holds a law degree, and I give glory to God."

The visit by the law faculty members to the Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation Headquarters underscored the profound impact of the foundation's scholarship program on young students' lives. It emphasized the crucial role of philanthropy in shaping the landscape of education and empowering future generations.
