In an exhilarating expedition led by Dame Ugochi Madueke, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Enugu State, a delegation ventured deep into the heart of the captivating Ezimo community. Accompanied by the esteemed Chairman of Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Solomon Onah (Jack Solo), the mission was to unearth the hidden treasures of the mesmerizing Ezimo Waterfall. The result? As the delegation ventured into the heart of Ezimo Waterfall, they were greeted by a breathtaking sight. This magnificent waterfall stands as the tallest in Enugu State, dramatically descending from a surface coal escarpment that soars over 200 feet. It then plunges into a base of coarse sand, meandering through rocky terrain before gracefully joining the Nkakwu stream, ultimately forming a picturesque sandy beach.


Hon. Solomon Onah, the Mayor of Udenu, the gracious host local government, expressed the council's enthusiasm to collaborate with the state government in elevating the development of Ezimo Waterfall. He commended the initiative and dedication of Commissioner Dame Ugochi Madueke, whom he fondly referred to as a close friend, for her unwavering commitment to uncovering Enugu's hidden gems.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
