Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation Empowers More Students in Celebration of 11th Anniversary


In a gracious event that underscores its unwavering commitment to education and poverty alleviation, the Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation celebrated its 11th year by awarding scholarships to 20 deserving individuals for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. The ceremony unfolded at the Foundation's headquarters in Enugu, Nigeria, radiating positivity and promise for the future.

Gratitude filled the air as Mr. Emmanuel Eze, a 5th-year Radiography student at UNN, shared his transformative journey, praising Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu PhD for his generosity. Desmond Mamah, another beneficiary, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the profound impact of the scholarship on his educational pursuit.

Representing her daughter, final year medical student Uche Ohabuenyi, Mrs. Stella Odoh expressed heartfelt thanks to the Foundation, emphasizing how it prevented her family from despair. She urged graduates to pay it forward by supporting the scholarship scheme post-employment.

Prof. Malachy Okwueze, a distinguished member of the Board of Trustees, lauded Hon. Ezeugwu's dedication to education and encouraged others to follow suit. Reverend Father Aneke commended Ezeugwu for imparting lessons of generosity and advised beneficiaries to seize the educational support.

Founder Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu underscored the importance of self-belief in academic success, drawing inspiration from his own journey. He urged beneficiaries to maximize the opportunity, symbolizing ongoing dedication by distributing tuition fees for the new academic year.

While some beneficiaries were represented by their parents at the Foundation's office, the Ikechukwu Ezeugwu Foundation continues to be a beacon of hope, empowering dreams and reshaping the educational landscape for a better society.
