Ugwuanyi's Humanitarian Healthcare Initiative Demonstrates Love, Saves more Lives

 


In his continuous demonstration of compassion and commitment to the health needs of the people, the "Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme," founded by the former Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has recently orchestrated life-saving interventions for two individuals in desperate need of urgent medical attention.


A 30-year-old resident of Adaba, Amarchi, Amarachi Okorie, battled the challenges of Uterine Fibroid. Through the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, she underwent a successful myomectomy surgery, experiencing relief and a complete restoration of her health and general well-being. Onyeka Ada from Enugu Ezike, faced a complex case of Cephalopelvic Disproportion (Contact: 09076344316). The healthcare initiative facilitated a Caesarean Section, resulting in the safe delivery of a healthy baby girl. The Ada family expressed heartfelt gratitude, showering prayers on Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the life-changing intervention, provided free of charge.


Dr. George Ajogwu, the Director General of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, commended Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's unwavering commitment to addressing healthcare challenges. Highlighting not just financial support but also the donation of crucial medical equipment, Dr. Ajogwu emphasized the initiative's significant impact on alleviating healthcare issues in Enugu State, showcasing a deep compassion for humanity.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler. According to the communiqué, the council expressed deep embarrassment over Onukaibe's self-presentation to the Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, labeling it as an act of impersonation and emphasizing that he was never nominated, selected, or recommended by the community for such a role.
