Udenu LGA Receives Ugwuanyi's Life-Changing Medical Outreach at Ezimo


Following the Medical Outreach programme which commenced in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area on the 20th of January 2024, the Gburugburu Free MedicalOutreach, founded by former Enugu State Governor Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as an extension of the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, conducted a another impactful medical outreach in Udenu Local Government Area, on Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.

Catering to the health needs of both children and adults, the outreach took place at the Central School Ezimo, where a gathering of 85 patients awaited expert medical intervention. The dedicated team of medical professionals addressed a spectrum of medical conditions, ensuring comprehensive care for the community members.

The Traditional Ruler of Ezimo Community, HRH Igwe John Ugwu Ezigbo 11, graced the occasion, adding regal support to the commendable initiative. In his statement to the newsmen, Igwe John Ugwu Ezigbo 11 commended the founder, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for prioritizing the health and well-being of the people in Enugu State. The royal presence underscored the significance of such healthcare initiatives in fostering community well-being.

In response to inquiries from the press, the Director-General of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, Dr. George Ajogwu expressed gratitude for the successful outreach in Ezimo. Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler.
