In its inaugural edition, the Power of One unveiled its transformative agenda at Oaklands Hotel during an inaugural conference themed "The Power of One: From Potential to Prosperity." On 23rd of March 2024 as the city of Enugu, Nigeria witnessed the landmark event adjudged on of the most impactful gathering of young people in the South East in recent times.

Enugu: Mburubu 'Kingmakers' Council of Chiefs Denounce Controversial Self- Acclaimed Traditional Ruler

The Mburubu Council of Chiefs, also known as the Igwe Cabinet, has officially disowned Mr. Jerry Patrick Onukaibe, who recently proclaimed himself as the 'Igwe-elect' of Mburubu Kingdom. The council, in a communiqué released on Saturday, vehemently refuted any endorsement or recognition of Onukaibe for the revered position of traditional ruler. According to the communiqué, the council expressed deep embarrassment over Onukaibe's self-presentation to the Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, labeling it as an act of impersonation and emphasizing that he was never nominated, selected, or recommended by the community for such a role.
