Powered by Omu Resort and endorsed by the Enugu State Government, the event promises to be a highlight of the festive season.


The free event kicks off at 7 pm at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu, and features an exciting lineup of top Afrobeat artistes, including Aguero Banks, Kolaboy, Mynoperuzzi, Hypeman Mish, and DJ Nips. In a ruling delivered on Wednesday, Inyang Ekwo, the presiding judge, held that the applicant, Edo Civil Society Organisations (EDOSCO), lacked the legal right to institute the suit on Ukpo’s behalf. Ekwo held that the provision of article 3 (e) of the preamble to the fundamental rights (enforcement procedure) rules, 2009 (FREPR 2009), under which EDOSCO filed the suit, cannot be said to have granted any person without legal personality to sue or be sued in the court.
