 Edeoga Dumps Peter Obi, Set to Join PDP

The Labour Party Governorship candidate in Enugu state in the 2023 election, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga, has dumped Peter Obi for another party in the state.

Edeoga, who keenly contested the governorship election against Dr. Peter Mbah, came a very close second, riding on the Obidient wave in the country.

Sources close to the Isi-Uzo politician told JOURNALIST101 that Edeoga, who has been consulting his associates after a visit by the PDP leaders in the state, will be rejoining the party which sent him to the House of Reps in 2023 today.

“Edeoga is on his way back to the PDP,” the source, who doesn’t wish to be named at this time, said.

“He will be joining the party at the party’s office with his supporters this afternoon.”

Enugu: Finally, Suspected Killers of Ogbete Market Chairman Arrested

Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have arrested two suspects linked to the killing of Mr. Stephen Aniagu, Chairman of the Ogbete Main Market Traders’ Association (OMMATA). [VIDEO] Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Invade Enugu Community, Attack Residents

   Residents of  Ikedinkpa Affa , a community in  Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State , have raised alarm over an alleged invasion by suspected  Fulani herdsmen , leading to attacks and heightened tension in the area. In a disturbing video shared online by  Mr. Emeka Amadi , an indigene of the community, he decried the growing insecurity, stating that armed assailants had taken over parts of the community. "Our people are under threat from the Fulani terrorists… These men of the underworld are scavenging the lives of our people.
