SAD: Commercial Motorcycle Operator Stabbed to Death by Wife For Bringing Home Less Money Than Usual
A commercial motorcycle operator, identified as Geoffrey Ouma, was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife in their home in Ongata Rongai town, Kenya, after he returned with less money than usual.
According to witnesses, Ouma, fondly called Jeff, had just returned from work when his wife confronted him about the household items they lacked. The man had earned significantly less that day due to heavy rainfall affecting business.
An argument ensued when he was unable to provide the money she demanded. In a fit of rage, the woman rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and moved toward him.
Sensing danger, Ouma attempted to flee but slipped and fell. His wife then allegedly stabbed him in the chest, killing him instantly.
By the time neighbors arrived, it was too late to save him. The couple had been married for about five years and had a child.
Authorities confirmed that the Ongata Rongai Police have arrested the woman, and investigations into the tragic incident are ongoing.
