HUMANITY: Tears of Joy as Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji Hands Over Two-Bedroom Bungalows to Widows in Nkanu East/Nkanu West

 



In a heartwarming show of compassion and dedication to grassroots development, Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji, the member representing Nkanu East/Nkanu West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has handed over keys to fully furnished two-bedroom bungalows to two widows in separate communities, Mrs. Jacinta Nnaji of Ugwunani Okwo, Akegbe Ugwu, and Mrs. Cordelia Nworiennajiedeh of Amaechi Idodo.

These humanitarian gestures are in alignment with Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah’s people-centered administration, which prioritizes the welfare and upliftment of the vulnerable in Enugu State.

During the emotional handover in Akegbe Ugwu, Mrs. Jacinta Nnaji was overwhelmed with joy as she received the keys to her new home. Fighting back tears, she said, “I have nothing to say rather than for God to continue to sustain Nnolim for me. Since he can remember a widow like me, God will never abandon him.”

The event drew community leaders and dignitaries who showered praise on Hon. Nnaji. The traditional ruler of Umuokwo community, Igwe R.C. Agwa, hailed him as a rare gem, stating, “After His Excellency Gov. Peter Mbah, no other leader or legislator has such a large heart more than Nnolim Nnaji. He has always been there for our people.”

Adding his voice, Prof. Kelvin Ugwu commended Hon. Nnaji for his exceptional representation, noting, “In the history of Nkanu East and West Federal Constituency, no other representative has done better than him.” He offered prayers for divine favor and blessings upon Nnaji.

In a similar ceremony held in Amaechi Idodo, another deserving widow, Mrs. Cordelia Nworiennajiedeh, received a fully equipped bungalow. Elated, she thanked God for remembering her through Hon. Nnaji and prayed for his continued success and long life.

Speaking on behalf of the lawmaker, Chief Sylvester Okoro, his legislative assistant, reaffirmed Hon. Nnaji’s commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the grassroots. He expressed appreciation to the people of Amaechi Idodo for their unwavering support and urged them to continue praying for Governor Mbah’s administration, which, according to him, is laying the foundation for a more prosperous Enugu State.

Prince Cletus Ajiegbu also praised Hon. Nnaji’s performance, describing his tenure as one of unmatched impact. He assured him of the people’s continued support and loyalty.

With these latest interventions, Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji has further strengthened his reputation as a responsive and compassionate leader, championing initiatives that uplift the underprivileged and build stronger communities in Nkanu East and West.

Enugu: Finally, Suspected Killers of Ogbete Market Chairman Arrested

Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have arrested two suspects linked to the killing of Mr. Stephen Aniagu, Chairman of the Ogbete Main Market Traders’ Association (OMMATA).    Residents of  Ikedinkpa Affa , a community in  Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State , have raised alarm over an alleged invasion by suspected  Fulani herdsmen , leading to attacks and heightened tension in the area.
